It is with a heavy heart that I take this moment to inform my Huntsville High School classmates that my dear friend, Milton Parton, entered Heaven this morning, Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Cancer has claimed another wonderful life. I will think of him often and miss him greatly, until we meet again at a time of God's choosing. We grew up across the street from each other and shared so many of life's experiences together. We mowed yards in our neighborhood for $4 each! I vividly remember the countless rock concerts we attended at what was then called the Von Braun Civic Center. We each had to mow two yards in order to afford our $6.50 concert tickets! Rest in peace my friend. You are now in the best of all places. Please keep Milton and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

You won't be forgotten, Milton.

Regards - Keith Ailor

To this day, whenever I see a really cool car, I think of Milton. He had a great imagination and used to draw these amazing cars. I always thought he'd be on a pit crew or be a race car driver when he grew up. And I remember him laughing. He was such a funny, happy guy. I am sorry for your loss, Keith, and for Milton's family.

I spent one of the most thrilling days of my life with Milton.  About 24 years ago I ran into Milton at a bar, as I often did in those days, and we got to talking about skydiving. He was going the next morning and invited me to join him.  And I did. I showed up bright and early out in Harvest, Rusty went to watch and call an ambulance if needed. Milton was there all smiles. We each did a tandem jump, he went first. It was awesome!!  I will be forever grateful that Milton encouraged me to do something I always wanted to do and will never forget. I will be thinking of him when I do it again. God Bless you Milton.
